Born of meticulous craftsmanship, the “pillar” heel of Lina, is mixed, injected, and left to rest under a cotton blanket, where the fibers of concrete and recycled glass breathe, evaporating the moisture in the mix. Each heel has rested, experiencing the outskirts of Naples where, under the summer heat, it came to life. The assembly is the moment where the shoe meets the heel, in Vigevano, where the journey is completed. Now the shoe is ready to be worn. It’s not just about aesthetics, it’s innovation, where artisanal culture meets a violent surge of change. Inspired by Lina Bo Bardi, an Italian architect recognized for her approach to social inclusion in her works.
